Pretty Boy Dirty Boy: The New Album from Colombia's Maluma

If you're not yet familiar with Maluma, now is the time to get acquainted with this sensational young singer. Maluma (Juan Luis Londoño Arias) has just released his second full length studio album Pretty Boy Dirty Boy.

The 21-year-old from Medellín, Colombia has more than 6 million Instagram followers and first shot to stardom in South America with hits such as "La Curiosidad" and "La Temperatura."

PBDB serves as a demonstration of the duality of Maluma's musical artistry. While we are used to the "Dirty Boy," his seductive "bad boy" side, the album will allow his audience to view him in a new light, as the more romantic "Pretty Boy." Fittingly, the "Pretty Boy" songs are produced in a more pop style, while the "Dirty Boy" songs are reggaeton.

The album features hit singles produced by top Latin producers such as MadMusick ("Carnaval") and Kevin ADG y Chan "El Genio" (see the Latin Grammy-nominated "El Tiki" featured on May's list of our Top 5 Latin Songs of the Moment). His most recent single "Borró Cassette" was No. 1 in Colombia for more than nine weeks and hit No. 3 on Billboard's Latin Airplay chart in the United States. Also included are collaborations with fellow Latin superstars Farruko, Cosculluela, and bachatera Leslie Grace. 13 of the 14 songs on the 16-track album were written or co-written by Maluma.

Maluma is a coach on the current season of Colombia's edition of La Voz Kids. He also served as a special advisor for Natalia Jiménez's team on the most recent season of La Voz Kids in the U.S.
