5 Latin Songs You Need to Hear

The beginning of 2016 has brought us some amazing hits from the world of música latina. Check out these five songs we ❤️!

"Desde Esa Noche"-Thalía ft. Maluma

Reggaeton + ranchera is definitely a sound we love! This one is going to be on the charts for a while. The official video is on the way!

"En La Puerta de al Lado"-Laura Pausini

Laura slays it again on this gorgeous track from her November 2015 release Similares. The song (Italian: "Nella porta accanto") is inspired by a fan's story. Her tour starts in June.

"Perdóname"-Ricky Martin

Ricky Martin just won his second Grammy for his album A Quien Quiera Escuchar. "Perdóname," a beautiful ballad, is the fourth single from the album and talks about forgiveness. The track is accompanied by an even more beautiful video.

"La Negra Tiene Tumbao"-Aymee Nuviola ft. Kat Dahlia

Wowww this song is red-hot! Originally sung by Cuban salsera Celia Cruz, Aymee Nuviola and Kat Dahlia absolutely do it justice. Nuviola, who played Cruz in Telemundo's series Celia, also performed at the tribute to the late singer at the first ever Latin American Music Awards where she sang "La Vida Es Un Carnaval."

"El Perdedor"-Maluma

Once upon a time, Maluma was not a household name. Now he's not only one of Colombia's brightest music stars, but he's reigning at the top of America's Latin charts.  "El Perdedor" is the latest single from his Billboard No. 1 album Pretty Boy Dirty Boy and is one of its strongest tracks.
