Fresh off the release of their new single "Valedictorian," the Atlanta-based alt rock band—comprising Allen Beck (drums), Billy Kilgore (bass), Andrew Lynn (guitar/vocals), and Travis Blake (vocals/guitar)—has been making music together since 2015 and is spreading their encouraging message to listeners everywhere. And it's a message that anyone can find comfort in. Today the band shares their thoughts in a special guest blog for Musical Notes Global. Here's what they had to say:

"The 4 of us have known each other about 10 years. We've all seen the good, the bad, and the ugly in each other. There have been times that we've been pissed at each other, but we're also each other's rock to lean on when we're down. We want to uplift people with our songs by addressing the situations that we've seen in our lives and show how we would overcome those obstacles. Not to say that we don't like to write silly pointless songs too, but we want our listeners to grow from listening to our words. We've seen a lot in our 4 lives so far and we feel like it's worth giving back to the world as we continue to grow ourselves.

"When seeing us perform live, it's important to us that you feel like you're surrounded by family. We are pretty interactive on stage and try to talk to the crowd and each other on stage so that you feel that energy. Our overall goal is to help reassure you that you are not alone in your struggles and to give you the confidence to take on the world. It's a safe place to make new friends and be the person that you truly want to be. Let go and live when you're with us. It's supposed to be a celebration and a party! We can't wait to meet all of you in the near future.
