6 Amazing English Tracks from Italian Artists

It's no secret that we love Italy here at Musical Notes Global, so we thought we'd give you a short list of some of the best English tracks we've come across from Italian artists. Let us know your favorites in the comments below!

"The Rest"-Lorenzo Fragola

The fact that Lorenzo Fragola's debut album 1995 includes a few songs in English allows him to appeal to a wider audience. "The Rest" is a gorgeous display of his vocal talent, and it made us adore him even more.

"The Best Day of My Life"-Il Volo

Featured on the brand new albums Grande Amore (International Version) and L'amore si muove from the beloved Italian trio Il Volo, "The Best Day of My Life" is just one of those songs that make you feel like life is beautiful.

Check out this live version featuring special guest Lorenzo Fragola from the Rai concert special Un'avventura straordinaria. Don't forget to read MNGBlog's review of Grande Amore here.

"Sunny Day"-Leiner

Leiner was a contestant on the eighth season of Italy's edition of X Factor. Both uplifting and addicting, what more can you expect from a song with such a positive title? It's perfect.

See it featured on October's list of our Top 5 Italian Songs of the Moment.

"I'm a Woman"-Alessandra Amoroso

Amoroso won the 2009 edition of the Italian talent show Amici di Maria De Filippi and has experienced wide success singing in her native language. Featured on her 2010 album Il mondo in un secondo, "I'm a Woman" is a great girl power anthem--just take a look at those lyrics!

"Time of My Life"-Marco Mengoni

X Factor Italy and Sanremo winner Marco Mengoni is HUGE right now. From his album Parole in circolo, released this past January, "Time of My Life" is the English version of "Come un attimo fa" and recounts the tale of a relationship gone bad.

"Each Tear"-Mary J. Blige ft. Tiziano Ferro

We love Tiziano Ferro and we love Mary J. Blige. The voices of these two soulful artists combine in perfect vocal harmony on this inspirational and empowering track. How great do they sound together?!? "Each Tear" is one of our favorites from Tiziano and can be found on his 2014 album TZN-The Best of Tiziano Ferro. Fun fact: The track was originally recorded as a duet by Blige with UK artist Jay Sean.
