Neon Dreams Drops Dreamy New Single "Turn Back Now"

Following the success of their 2019 album Sweet Dreams till Sun Beams, Halifax-based indie pop duo Neon Dreams is back with a brand new single, and it’s the perfect song to brighten up these gloomy winter days.

Infectious, glowing, and conjuring all the warmth of the shining sun, “Turn Back Now” focuses on the remarkable power of positivity, and the strength that lies in holding onto that power in the face of adversity. Through relatable lyrics that speak directly to the soul, the song reminds listeners that although they may be experiencing stormy weather in the present moment, the skies will clear eventually, and it’s worth fighting for.

“Last year I witnessed my mother go through chemotherapy and beat cancer,” frontman Frank Kadillac explains. “I was amazed at how positive she remained through the entire process. It made me realize the power of positive thinking. I wanted to create a song that would help inspire others facing struggle. I started watching movies, reading books and listening to music from my childhood that inspired me and made me who I am. I realized they are all heroic, and I saw this phrase come up a lot - ‘we came way too far to turn back now.’ I wrote the song based on that concept.”

Neon Dreams will kick off a U.S. tour in March, which will include four dates at SXSW in Austin, TX.
