Rising Artist Spotlight: Tico y Javi

We get super excited when we come across unique new artists that we really believe in. This dynamic duo desde Venezuela has made a strong impression on us here at Musical Notes Global.

Twins Tico y Javi "Los Gemelos" have a long and rich history in the music business as coristas and percussionists, starting out in youth orchestras and most recently supporting fellow Venezuelan duo Los Cadillac's. Last year, they embarked on a journey of their own as a duo and began working con su "padrino musical" Nacho of the famed dúo venezolano Chino & Nacho, along with talented producer Jhon Paul "El Increíble”. Their sweet, upbeat, infectious canción "Mi Novia y Yo," written by Nacho (en estilo merengue urbano), was a huge success and quickly rose to #4 on the Billboard Latin Tropical Airplay chart in the US.

What a breath of fresh air estos hermanos gemelos are! We're waiting in anticipation for their new single, releasing soon, and we're definitely looking forward to hearing a complete album from them, which will hopefully be released by the end of this year. Be sure to check them out!
