Daddy Yankee Leads Premios Tu Mundo Nominations

On Thursday, August 25, we'll be watching the 5th edition of Telemundo's awards show Premios Tu Mundo.

El "Big Boss" Daddy Yankee leads nominations in the music categories with three: Favorite Urban Artist, Fan Club of the Year, and Canción Comienza-Fiestas.

He is currently taking the world by storm with "Shaky Shaky," his latest viral sensation. "Leadership and consistency continue to be the key to my success," DY said regarding the hit. "Thanks to #DYArmy for their unconditional support during all these years."

Recently, he performed several sold out shows in Miami and New York as part of The Kingdom tour with fellow reggaetonero and trailblazer Don Omar. He was also a collaborator on Venezuelan duo Chino & Nacho's global hit "Andas En Mi Cabeza," which has accumulated over 300 million YouTube views to date.
