Micky James Shares Debut Single "Give It To Me Straight"

New York City glam rocker Micky James recently shared his infectious debut single "Give It To Me Straight."

Channeling Brit rock legends like David Bowie and The Rolling Stones and emitting a dark, mysterious vibe, James is creating an energetic and raw sound that really hooks listeners in. On "Give It To Me Straight," his first solo track since leaving his band, he teamed up with Dirty Canvas's Shep Goodman and Aaron Accetta (American Authors, Young Rising Sons) to create a bass-and-drum-driven single that is already creating buzz.

"They say some of your best work or the best songs you write appear from the sky and happen pretty instantaneous..." James said, "well I feel 'Give It To Me Straight' felt like one of those songs."
