Natti Natasha Empowers With Highly Anticipated Debut Album ilumiNATTI

Today the queen of YouTube, Natti Natasha, has finally released her highly anticipated debut album ilumiNATTI.

The most viewed female artist on YouTube in 2018—earning over 4.52 billion views and outranking artists like Ariana Grande, Dua Lipa, Taylor Swift, and Cardi B—Natti has also been dominating digital music platforms, garnering nearly 1 billion streams on Spotify.

Comprising 17 tracks, ilumiNATTI is all about women’s empowerment, delving into topics such as love, sex, and relationships, and was produced by some of the biggest names in Latin music: Raphy Pina, Gaby Music, Chris Jeday, Mambo Kingz, DJ Julian, Fortuna, Linkon, MikeyTone, Maffio, Magnifico, Dimelo Flow, and Marcos Sanchez. The album features a slew of new tracks as well as hits “Pa’ Mala Yo,” which surpassed 2.5 million views within hours of its release; “Me Gusta”; and the freshly released and stunningly vulnerable Joss Favela-produced single “La Mejor Versión de Mi.”

The album, on which the only collaborations are featurings with fellow female industry leaders Kany Garcia and Anitta, proves without a doubt that Natti can dominate styles outside of urban music and sees her exploring ballads and dance hall in addition to reggaeton and trap.

This year, Natti is the most nominated artist in Premio Lo Nuestro with 15 nods to her name including Song of the Year for “Quien Sabe” and Collaboration of the Year for “Justicia” alongside Colombian crooner Silvestre Dangond.
