EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE: Turn Back Time with "Just Like The 80's," the New Single from SWAYDAY

As summer approaches, there’s nothing better than a great pop bop to lift the spirits.

Today we’re super excited to have the exclusive premiere of “Just Like The 80’s,” the latest single from Swedish band SWAYDAY.

Comprising lead singer Arthur Öhman, Sixten Roström, twins Gabriel Gustafsson and Alexander Gustafsson, and Tobias Wermeling, SWAYDAY released their debut EP Time Of Our Lives last year and has been writing and recording new music in the time since, including their new single.

Alive with shimmering funk, a chorus you can’t help but sing along to, and clever pop culture references, “Just Like The 80’s” is built on reminiscence and those memories you wish you could relive over and over again.

“‘Just Like The 80’s’ holds a ton of emotion for us,” the band says. “We instantly felt the chorus was going to be huge, an anthem. And with the relatable nostalgic theme of the lyric everything came together nicely through the lovesick teenager and 80’s reference. It feels great to have that one song you know is going to be a banger for everyone out there to blast through their speakers so high the neighbours freak out. What’s even better is knowing we have so much more stuff on the way. It makes us really happy that finally our fans get to hear what we’ve been working on for so long in the studio."
