EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE: Lisa Danaë Shows Powerful Vulnerability in New Single "1445"

After releasing her super fun and flirty single “Type Erase” in May, Lisa Danaë is back at it, but this time she’s taking a more serious approach.

Today the rising Filipina-American pop starlet is premiering her brand new single “1445” with Musical Notes Global. An emotional acoustic piano pop ballad, the track explores a tumultuous time in Danaë’s life that saw her battling instability, change, and some very hard choices while simultaneously fighting depression and figuring out her purpose in life.

“This song truly represents what I've been through the past couple years ever since I took full control of my life and my career,” Danaë revealed to Musical Notes Global. “The constant struggle of wanting to give up, but also knowing that I can make all of my musical dreams come true on my own. We're living in a time where people are starting to be more open about their battle with depression and anxiety. So, I hope that people realize they're not alone and can always ask for help. Just always remember to stay true to yourself and strive to live in the light.”

The song is the last single off of her upcoming project of the same name, which is set for release this summer.
