EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE: Kelli Faith Shares New Music Video "More"
/Musical and artistic journeys are not linear. The hardships and various successes behind the scenes are witnessed through a fine lens, not always taking into account that people grow and change rapidly.
Kelli Faith is a pop country singer-songwriter from New Jersey whose music is inspired and influenced by artists like Cassadee Pope, Kacey Musgraves, and Julia Michaels. The singer was previously in pop-punk band Before It’s Too Late, and after they disbanded in 2017, she went solo. As she grew as an artist, Faith wrote lyrics that were more personal to herself, and she continued to gain confidence.
Today Musical Notes Global is proud to premiere the second single off of Faith’s debut album 21 . “More” is her most authentic song to date, taking listeners through her current love story. Her lyrics are honest and vulnerable about wanting a love but not knowing if the right person is out there. Her hypnotizing voice sings over a guitar “I’m worth more than my flaws and scars,” realizing that she is worthy of the love she found. By the end of the track, one feels the love she has for her significant other radiating like a beacon in the middle of a thick fog.
The music video for “More” is almost as intimate as the track. Featuring waves crashing in the background, it creates a calming vibe that corresponds to the slow, steady strumming of a guitar.
Faith’s real-life boyfriend is also a special guest in the video. “I knew I wanted a couple who was just as in love as my boyfriend and I in it... but it felt even more right to get as personal and have my boyfriend in the video,” she said. “I feel like those boundaries aren’t often crossed in music out of fear for what may come in the future, but I trusted my heart so much fear didn’t even come to mind.”
