British-American duo Valencia is on the brink of stardom.

Comprising California girl Jadeyn Madsen and British heartthrob Lou Courts, the pair seamlessly integrates contemporary pop melodies with electronic elements, creating a riveting sound that is sure to take over the charts in the very near future.

What might stand out even more about this duo than those ridiculously captivating, undeniably satisfying beats is the magical chemistry that exists between them. After meeting during a summer program at Berklee College of Music in 2015, the two singer-songwriters quickly fell into a love affair which then turned into a long distance romance and eventually, three years later, a joint artistic journey as Valencia.

The duo is now preparing to release their debut single “Light of You,” and today Musical Notes Global has the exclusive first listen. Produced by Ian Kimmel, “Light of You” is the ideal electro-pop dance track that summons the excitement and desire only a true summer romance can bring.

“We wanted to write a song that made people feel good, whilst keeping the lyrics personal to us. Jadeyn and I spend a lot of time living on opposite sides of the world so this song is also us kind of finding our way back to each other,” Courts says.
