Monogem, aka Jen Hirsh is making a declaration, and it’s something everyone needs to hear.

With her new single “Soy Lo Que Soy” (“I Am What I Am”), the Los Angeles-based singer and songwriter is letting listeners know that she is proud of who she is and she’s not going to change for anyone.

Having promised her abuela that she wouldn’t lose sight of her heritage, “Soy Lo Que Soy” sees the artist paying tribute to her Guadalajaran roots for the first time, writing from the heart and remaining true to herself. "The writing process of Soy Lo Que Soy was emotional and informative,” she says, “but above all, has made me realize that I only am what I am, and always will be."

Monogem is currently gearing up to release her new EP So Many Ways, a personal collection that will incorporate live instrumentation, vocal layering, and sampling while reflecting the many facets of this talented songstress.
