19-year-old Nic Howell knows how today’s teenagers think and effortlessly relates to them through his wonderfully honest stories.

The Florida-based singer-songwriter recently released his single “It’s Only You,” a shining example of his ability to get right to the core of what makes us human. Ethereal and melancholic, the song is an alt-pop gem complete with heart wrenching lyrics that draw listeners into a brooding world of memories and heartache.

Lucy is a vibe. I love the retro background vocals and pianos. This song makes me wanna drop the top and drive down A1A.

This one of my favorite hooks of the year. This drum production also goes soooo hard. This song makes me wanna go to the beach with my homies.

3. “Easily”-Bruno Major

This song is basically just perfect. Musically and also lyrically. Well done Bruno!!!

4. “Blue World”-Mac Miller

I love everything Mac Miller made tbh. The production on this one is just so good, and the lyrics go in.

5. “Sincerity is Scary”-The 1975

This song is perfectly written, and Matty’s delivery is so solid. Amazing to say the least.

6. “Good Guys”-Lany

This is just one of the most relatable songs. I also love the production.

7. “Drive All Night”-Joan

Joan is just so good overall—I love everything they make. “Drive All Night” is the perfect song to put on when you’re spending time with your favorite person.

8. “Valentine”-Coin

This song is simply so good on all forms. The guitars bring in some next level nostalgia.

9. “Head in the Clouds”-Baby Jake

This song is the perfect balance of modern and retro.

10. “Father Stretch My Hands”-Kanye West

Kanye is amazing. Every song slaps, but especially this one.

11. “Copycat”-Billie Eilish

The production goes so hard and so do the lyrics. Love this one.

12. “Roundabout”-babyboyblue

This song just reminds me of Summer & good times with friends.
