Hailing from Belarus, recording artist, singer-songwriter, and musician ZØYA is captivating listeners everywhere with her earthy vocals and raw honesty.

Now based in Los Angeles, ZØYA uses her personal struggles and everything she experienced during her teenage years as a way to connect with her fans, tapping into the complexities of human emotions and relationships with stunning ease.

The up and coming new talent is fresh off the release of her latest single “Outrageous,” a powerful anthem against toxic relationships and in support of standing up for oneself in the face of adversity. "‘Outrageous’ is about an emotionally abusive relationship. It highlights the importance of walking away from it even when it is difficult to let it go,” she says. “The song lyrics are self-explanatory. When I am singing, ‘Outrageous’ I mean that someone has been outrageous to me in a sneaky and disrespectful way. This person has been behaving excessively bad and abusive towards me even after I had to confront it. I had to choose to say no to a ‘toxic stranger’, and never allow that person to hurt me and/or emotionally abuse me (whether it was verbally or non-verbally) even when it was difficult to let that person go.”

Written and composed by the artist herself and featuring the production of Jon Joseph, the song reminds listeners of the importance of self-confidence and drawing lines when and where they need to be drawn in order to protect oneself and state of mind. “When it comes to a relationship conflict, it’s important to say what you feel and try to work it through,” she continues. “Don’t be afraid to tell the truth and stand up for yourself if someone is belittling you. Set the boundaries and limit contact with that person who is constantly mistreating you. Remember that there’s nothing wrong with you. We reap what we sow. Don’t wait for an apology. Forgive and let go of that outrageous human being that keeps emotionally hurting you.”
