[WATCH] "Hate It" from NBC's Songland Winner PipoBeats

Rising pop artist PipoBeats is taking 2020 head-on, and he’s well on his way to becoming a household name.

Earlier this year, the young Chilean-American performer and self-taught multi-instrumentalist, who writes and sings in both English and Spanish, made an appearance on NBC’s Songland, where he pitched his song “Sway” to Latin superstar Luis Fonsi and won.

More recently, Pipo shared the music video for his single “Hate It,” a track featured on his debut album Singing Hills, which was released this year. Groovy and soulful, the song is a personal story, giving listeners a glimpse at one of the artist’s past relationships and the lessons he learned from the experience.

“The Hate It music video felt like it was almost a false reality,” Pipo says. “When me and my director Nico Manterola ran into the location it was exactly what I envisioned in my head. The music video definitely allows the viewer to get into my mind and feel exactly what I was feeling throughout my past relationship.”
