Christmas is still a few days away but that doesn’t mean we’re not looking ahead to the new year yet!

Electro-pop duo Karmic—Laura Baruch and Kylee Katch—has delivered an enchanting new version of “Auld Lang Syne,” the celebratory track that helps us say goodbye to what we’ve left behind and hello to what’s in store during the year to come.

“The holidays are some of our most favorite time of the year! A time for us to express our emotions bring out our soft side and reflect on the year. It gives us an opportunity to change things up from our usual energetic, upbeat vibe,” Karmic says. “‘Auld Lang Syne’ is about celebrating and saying farewell to the last year which is why it is traditionally played on New Year’s Eve. It is also about remembering the people who have passed on in our lives and the relationships we have lost. We dedicate this cover to our loved ones who have passed over the year, and to everyone else who has gone through this. Sending so much love into the new year!”
