Hailing from the tiny tourist town of Port aux Basques in Newfoundland and Labrador, singer-songwriter and traveling troubadour LeRiche has created a glistening sound that will instantly provoke a smile.

The indie alternative artist’s latest single “Hair Elastic” is a groovy folk-pop hit inspired by the moment he found his daughter’s hair elastic in his pocket while he was away on a trip. Laced with sparkling melancholy, it’s the perfect track to help anyone stay close to their loved ones when they can’t physically be near them.

“‘Hair Elastic,’ for me, is about the sacrifice and the hardships we go through while being away from the ones who mean the most while we do what we have to do,” he says. “The driving force that will get you back home, is knowing you're going back.”

Co-produced by Nathan Ferraro and Ben Nudds, the song will be featured on LeRiche’s upcoming EP, which is due out early next year. Listen to “Hair Elastic” below.
