Kalpee Shares Inspiring Message With New Single "Wherever You Are" Ft. Jimmy October

Hailing from Trinidad and Tabago, up-and-coming singer and songwriter Kalpee is a multi-talented superstar who has a lot to offer.

Fusing R&B, pop, calypso, and reggae rhythm, Kalpee is all about positivity and reminds his listeners to spread love and to respect ourselves and others. He also writes, produces, creates, and edits all of his videos, artwork, and graphics himself, and wrote, recorded, and produced his first single “No One,” which garnered more than 7.5 million views on YouTube.

Now based in Los Angeles, Kalpee is working with a variety of top producers to help bring his vision to a global audience and just released his new single “Wherever You Are” featuring Jimmy October. The track, which was produced by Tano, is a breath of fresh air, stirring up lots of good vibes while delivering a message of hope.

“This song means so much to me and was created with the sole purpose to uplift and inspire listeners to be the change that they want to see in the world,” Kalpee says.

The official music video was filmed in Mayaro, a beach south of Trinidad, highlighting refreshing natural landscapes and visually channeling the love that was poured into its creation. “Everyone on the shoot was friends or family coming together to create something that we could all be proud,” he explains. “Everyone pitched in, great memories were made, good times and fresh coconuts were shared and even though we barely got any sleep as we shot at Sunrise to capture the beautiful Trinidad skies, we were all grateful for the blessing of being able to come together and create.”
