New York Native Ronnie Watts Shares New Heartbreak Anthem "Sad Summer"
/Rising New York-born pop star Ronnie Watts is enchanting listeners all over the world with her scrumptiously nostalgic tunes.
Following the success of her debut single “Famous In California,” which has garnered more than 250k global streams to date, in addition to its follow-up “Break Your Heart,” Watts just released her newest single “Sad Summer,” and it’s just what the doctor ordered to mend a broken heart.
Written by Watts herself and produced by Harper James of the Brooklyn-based pop duo Eighty Ninety, “Sad Summer” recounts the heartbreak she personally experienced during the summer of 2019. The song is an irresistible alt-pop anthem made for those nights when the only thing we can do is shut ourselves in our rooms and get swept away in our emotions, with music serving as the only medicine that can heal us.

Watts recently performed on the #TogetherAtHome live stream with Global Citizen in support of the World Health Organization and is currently preparing a virtual tour.
