"Stupendo fino a qui"-Alessandra Amoroso
Why We Picked It: After undergoing vocal chord surgery this summer, Amoroso has made a triumphant return with "Stupendo fino a qui," which she premiered on the Italian talent show Tu sì que vales.
"Ti ho voluto bene veramente"-Marco Mengoni
Why We Picked It: "Ti ho voluto bene veramente" is an emotional ballad about leaving behind someone you love. The track was the first single to be released from Marco Mengoni's new album Le cose che non ho, the follow up to his January 2015 release Parole in circolo.
"Simili"-Laura Pausini
Why We Picked It: Written by Niccolò Agliardi, the title track from Pausini's brand new album is also its second single and speaks to the fact that as humans we are all similar despite our differences.
"Per te ci sarò"-Il Volo
Why We Picked It: Featured on their new albums Grande Amore (International Version) and L'amore si muove, "Per te ci sarò" quickly became a fan favorite from this trio that has experienced remarkable success throughout 2015. From Sanremo to Eurovision to the release of their three new albums, Il Volo now has five albums that rank in the top 100 of Italy's music charts. We can't wait to see what 2016 will bring!
"Il mondo è mio"-Antonino & Emma Marrone
Why We Picked It: We Love Disney was released as a 2-disc compilation in Italy and it features this fantastic and soulful rendition of "Il mondo è mio," the Italian version of "A Whole New World" from Aladdin.
"Vita nuova"-Gianna Nannini
Why We Picked It: Italy's favorite woman rocker recently released a greatest hits compilation. Titled Hitstory, the 2-disc 32-song collection features 26 of her greatest hits along with four new tracks, including "Vita nuova," a beautiful testament to the power of pure love.
